GLOBE Welcomes Marshall Islands!
GLOBE is pleased to welcome the 40th country to sign an agreement and become a GLOBE partner, the Marshall Islands.On October 17, Acting Foreign Minister and Secretary of Education Christopher Loeak and US Ambassador Plaisted signed the GLOBE Agreement at the Marshall Islands Capitol Building.
The Marshall Islands are located in the North Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Papua New Guinea. Numerous schools in the Marshall Islands are already involved in atmospheric monitoring, and will have much to share with other GLOBE schools about their environment conditions.
We look forward to working with GLOBE Schools in the Marshall Islands!
