Portuguese Host First Teacher Training Workshop
Twelve Portuguese GLOBE Teachers will participate in the first Teacher Training Workshop,
February 18-22, 1997. The workshop is being conducted at the Botanic Garden Environmental
Education Centre in Lisbon.The GLOBE training team is led by Country Coordinator Isabel Raposo and also includes a biologist and environmental education expert, a geologist, an environmental engineer,and a computer engineer.
We look forward to the active participation of Portuguese teachers and students in the GLOBE Program!
