Hampton University (HU), a historically black university, has developed a unique partnership between educators from the Interdisciplinary Science Center and scientists from the Department of Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, to develop and implement education and outreach programs for K-12 teachers and students. This unique alliance includes a partnership with GLOBE, which provides teachers with opportunities to participate in educator workshops related to satellite missions AIM and CALIPSO.
