Employers may now register for most Michigan Business Taxes, including a Sales Tax License and/or a UIA Employer Account Number using this on-line e-Registration application. You must have your Federal EIN (FEIN) to register using this site. This process is easy, secure, convenient and faster than registering by mail. It eliminates the need to mail in a 'Registration for Business Taxes' form. You can receive your new Sales Tax License in as little as 7 business days; your UIA Account Number in as little as 3 days. Employers who are acquiring/purchasing a business may also register online using this application.
