This notice is issued to correct institutional eligibility on the RFA-EB-08-003 entitled “NIBIB Interfaces Initiative for Interdisciplinary Graduate Research Training (T32)” which was released by  the National Institute for Biomedical imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts on March 19, 2008 at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-EB-08-003.html.  More specifically, in Section III. Eligibility Information, 1.A. Eligible Institutions, we are deleting the sentence

"However, the medical school, engineering school, or dental school, etc., of a university, even if on different campuses, constitute a single institution."

                             and replacing it with the sentence

"The intent of these training programs is to extend broadly across diverse disciplines and components of the overall applicant institution. As such, it is strongly encouraged that various schools of multi-component institutions join together in the submission of a single application."
