Division I M. Basketball

In Their Wake

While No. 1 Pitt was upset by No. 20 Louisville, no team has been able to touch Wake Forest this year. Not then-No. 3 North Carolina, whom the Demon Deacons beat last weekend. Not No. 9 Clemson, whom the Deacons sent from the undefeated ranks with a 78-68 win on Saturday. And not any of the other 14 teams that Wake has beaten this year to reach a perfect 16-0.

Football

Bitter? Not Undefeated Utah.

Undefeated seasons are pretty special in college football, and it today's game, they're getting rarer by the year. So you couldn't fault Utah and head coach Kyle Whittingham if they felt a little bitter for going 13-0 and receiving nothing more than a pat on the back.
