International Education Programs
The Office of International Education Programs (OIEP) works in conjunction with the International Center to establish and maintain International Exchange Agreements and Study Abroad programs and to develop internationally focused programs at the University of Utah. The OIEP serves as a resource for international initiatives in departments and colleges, and works closely with International Studies. The OIEP also oversees the upper-division international requirement which is designed to help students at the University of Utah appreciate the interdependence of the global community, understand the viewpoints of other nations, and improve communication between people across international borders. The OIEP is located in the Office of Undergraduate Studies.

Student Fee Study Abroad Scholarship | Starting Spring 2009, a new Student Fee scholarship will be awarded to selected students going on a study abroad program. Award amounts vary with the length of the program, from $1000 to $2500. The selection procedure is random.
