GLOBE Welcomes Salvadoran Students!
Monday, December 11, 1995. The GLOBE Program is pleased
to announce that El Salvador is joining GLOBE today.
El Salvador is the 31st country to enable their students
to make GLOBE measurements and share their observations
with GLOBE students and scientists around the world.
Salvadoran Minister of Education Cecilia de Cano
and U.S. Ambassador Alan Flannigan are holding a special
ceremony at the American School of El Salvador today
in San Salvador. The Ministry of Environment, SEMA,
will oversee the GLOBE Program in El Salvador.
