GLOBE Welcomes Danish Schools
GLOBE is delighted to welcome Denmark to the GLOBE Program. On May 29, 1997,
Danish Minister of Education Ole Vig Jensen and United States Ambassador Edward E. Elson
signed the GLOBE Agreement at the Danish Ministry of Education, with GLOBE Program Director Tom Pyke in attendance.Denmark plans to initiate GLOBE in ten schools in Fall 1997 and hopes to involve schools in Greenland in the future. In addition, Danish participants will attend the International GLOBE Training Workshop in Cologne, Germany in June 1997, and the Second Annual GLOBE Conference in Virginia, U.S.A., in July 1997.
We look forward to the active participation of Danish schools in the GLOBE Program!
