Dutch Host International GLOBE Workshop
Sixty representatives from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Egypt,
Finland, Germany, Greece, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Turkey
are gathered this week at an International GLOBE Training Workshop in the
Netherlands. Workshop participants are learning the GLOBE measurement
protocols and use of the GLOBE Student Data Server. These individuals
have assumed responsibility for guiding teachers in their home countries
in the GLOBE activities. The Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning, and Environment and the Dutch Ministry of Education and Science are sponsoring the workshop at Rijkshogeschool IJselland in the town of Deventer. The SME
MilieuAdviseurs/Institute for Environmental Communication, which is
implementing GLOBE in the Netherlands, is hosting the event.
