Net Impact North American Conference

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania is hosting the 2008 Net Impact North America Conference, "The Sustainable Advantage: Creating Social and Environmental Value." More than 1,800 graduate students and professionals will assemble to discuss how businesses and organizations can effectively address social and environmental challenges of the 21st century. Landfill Gas Energy: A Sustainable Energy Source from Small Landfills in New England

Join LMOP, EPA Region 1, Maine Department of Environmental Protection, and the Environmental Finance Center of the University of Maine for this informative one-day meeting. Learn about the latest technologies, resources, and initiatives that are available for landfill gas projects at small landfills. Speakers will also discuss the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and how this could apply to your landfill gas energy projects. 12th LMOP Annual Conference and Project Expo
January 12-14, 2009
Baltimore, Maryland
Building on the success of its past conferences, LMOP is planning another information packed agenda with its annual awards program, presentations highlighting landfill gas energy project successes and policy discussions, and opportunities to network. Exhibitors will also showcase industry innovations that improve the efficiency and security of the LFGE supply. As part of the event, LMOP also hosts a Project Expo, which provides information about landfills interested in developing landfill gas energy projects. Methane to Markets Business Meetings and Workshops

Co-hosted by Mexico's Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT) and the State Government of Nuevo Leon, the event provides an excellent opportunity to increase your exposure to some of the world's most influential international methane policy makers. There will be tours of active projects in all four sectors (Agriculture, Landfill, Coal, and Oil & Gas) on January 27. Technical workshops will be held on January 28. The Steering Committee will meet on January 27-28 and Technical Subcommittees will meet on January 29.

32nd SWANA Landfill Gas Symposium
