U.S. Embassy Hosts Irish GLOBE Students
The U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, the Honorable Jean Kennedy-Smith, has
issued a special invitation to GLOBE schools from throughout Ireland to
spend Earth Day, April 22, 1996, at the Embassy in Dublin. Students and Embassy staff will
spend the day exploring different environmental issues and developing
environmental goals for the GLOBE students to pursue back at school.GLOBE congratulates these outstanding GLOBE students and the U.S. Embassy for this exciting initiative. We look forward to seeing pictures of this special day and to reading about your goals in an upcoming GLOBE STARS feature!
