VIII. Describe any statutory or regulatory barriers which may limit the agencies’ corrective actions in reducing improper payments and actions taken by the agency to mitigate the barriers’ effects.
A. Medicare Fee-For-ServiceNo statutory or regulatory barriers for limiting corrective actions have been identified. B. Medicare AdvantageStatutory or regulatory barriers for limiting corrective actions will not be known until full implementation is complete and results are available. C. Medicare Prescription Drug BenefitStatutory or regulatory barriers for limiting corrective actions will not be known until full implementation is complete and results are available. D. The TANF statute prohibits HHS from requiring state TANF agencies to implement and report on corrective actions. G. Any proposed changes in the compliance framework or current methodology for estimating improper payments would need to go through the rulemaking process. H.
