CPSC, Evenflo Company, Inc. and Hufco-Delaware, Inc. Announce Recall to Replace Soft Infant Carriers

(View of woman walking with carrier in the front with a baby inside) In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), (view of three carriers and two boxes) Evenflo Company Inc., of Vandalia, Ohio, (screen reading: "Recall; Front & Back Pack Soft Infant Carriers; Model Numbers 075 and 080", with carriers shown in background) and Hufco- Delaware Inc., of Miamisburg, Ohio, are recalling about 327,000 model 075 and 080 Snugli Front & Back Pack soft infant carriers. (close -up of carrier opening) Small infants may shift to one side, slip through the leg openings of the carriers and fall. Infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk.

(something seen slipping out of the leg opening) One infant reportedly suffered a fractured skull and (doll seen falling out of carrier) two infants received bruises in falls to the ground from the carrier.

(view of royal blue carrier) The carriers are in color combinations of royal blue with magenta trim, (view of teal carrier) teal with navy blue trim, and (view of navy blue carrier) navy blue with purple trim.
