Press Release # 98-163

Transcript

(View of product) Century Products Company is voluntarily recalling (close up of "Century" embedded on the product, with a label reading in part: "Fold...Go") 50,000 "Fold-N-Go" care centers for repair. (view of the product, someone putting their hand inside the product) The product's bassinet may have loose fabric that could create (inside of product, someone's hand pulling up fabric) a pocket near the floor board where an infant can become entrapped and suffocate.

(Representative from Century speaking) "We received 4 reports of infants getting their heads caught between the mesh and floor of the bassinets. Fortunately, they're all okay, but Century wants to notify parents and caregivers before there're any other incidents."

(View of product and product box) Century is working together with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to recall the product. (adult changing baby on changing table, model nmbers and manufacturing date appear on screen) The recalled care centers include: Century "Fold-N-Go model 10-750 and 10-760 manufactured before September 1998.
