Extending LRP Participation (Renewals)
|
Participants may apply to extend LRP participation if they (1) continue to conduct qualified research and (2) continue to receive research funding from a qualified source.
NIH will elect at the time of funding whether the LRP renewal contract will be for a one- or two-year period. Renewal applications are submitted
on line at www.lrp.nih.gov and are subject to the same deadline as new applications. Please check the news
and announcements for information on the application deadlines (Click here to check).
Like new applications, renewals are competitive. They are reviewed using the same criteria as the initial awards plus two additional criteria - an assessment of your research accomplishments and your development as an independent investigator. |
