Brief Description:
This notice is intended to correct and clarify the guidelines to investigators for programmatic acceptance of unsolicited
clinical research grant applications requesting direct costs of $1,000,000 or more in any year by the National Institute
of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). They do not apply to unsolicited program projects or research center grants
(e.g., P01, P50). It is the policy of NINDS that Program Project and Research Center grants may not exceed $1,000,000 direct
costs in any year.
