Fryzel Welcomes Pennsylvania Credit Union League Officials
December 23, 2008, Alexandria, Va. – Chairman Michael E. Fryzel welcomed Jim McCormack, President/CEO and Rick Wargo Jr., Executive Vice President from the Pennsylvania Credit Union League to NCUA headquarters in Alexandria, Va., last week.
“I am impressed by the activism and involvement of the state leagues. They provide a valuable focus for credit union interactions with both regulatory and legislative bodies, and I was pleased to meet with the Pennsylvania representatives. I encourage all leagues to maintain their high-degree of interaction with NCUA,” commented Chairman Fryzel.

The National Credit Union Administration is the independent federal agency that regulates, charters and supervises federal credit unions. NCUA, with the backing of the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, also operates and manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, insuring the deposits of nearly 88.5 million account holders in all federal credit unions and the majority of state-chartered credit unions.
