ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S.
Department of Energy helping us all save money and
protect the environment through energy efficient
products and practices
Pursuant to Delaware Code,
29 Del.C.Subch.II, "The
Delaware Energy Act," the
Governor's Energy Advisory
Council has been charged
with spearheading the
updating of the Delaware
Energy Plan every five years
from the date of
enactment. Updating the
plan includes a process for
public input and measures
for progress in attaining
goals identified in the
Energy Plan. The previous
report developed by the
Governor's Energy Task Force
was released in the fall of
2003. The new plan is
expected to be developed and
completed by the spring of
2009. Five workgroups have
been established in the
energy planning process to
review current policies,
resources and to make
recommendations to the
Governor's Energy Advisory
Council for future energy
goals, targets and policies.

process.
The
Department of Energy is very concerned about the impact
of gasoline prices on American families and making sure
they are not being price-gouged at the pump. While we
are working to address longer term supply issues, we’re
also working to make sure American families are being
treated fairly. Please help us monitor gas prices in
your area by going to this link and filling out the
form provided.
