Document Revision Process
Over time, the contents of the Migration Planning Guidance are expected to change and evolve because of new developments at the SSCs and agencies. The document revision process outlines a standardized method for submitting proposed revisions and revising the document as appropriate.
All proposed revisions should be initiated by contacting the HR LOB Program Management Office (PMO). Proposed revisions to the Migration Planning Guidance must be officially proposed by a member of the HR LOB Multi-Agency Executive Strategy Committee (MAESC) or one of the designated HR LOB shared service centers (SSCs). The HR LOB PMO will review each proposed revision and determine its validity. If the proposed revision is valid then the HR LOB PMO will set a timeframe for addressing the revision. If necessary, the revision may be sent to the Multi-Agency Executive Strategy Committee (MAESC) for their review before inclusion in the Migration Planning Guidance.
The HR LOB PMO expects to publish revisions to the document as required, or at a minimum, on an annual basis.
