Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Office of Personnel Management offers this list of federal holidays for calendar year 1998 for your reference and use in reporting on the federal community during the coming year. It contains all 10 dates that are official holidays for Executive Branch employees.

For employees who do not have Monday through Friday workweeks, holidays are determined in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 6103(b)(2) and (d) and Executive Order 11582 of February 11, 1971.
