SES Candidate Development Program

An 18-month program during which candidates are provided with opportunities to build competence in the OPM Executive Core Qualifications. Successful completion of the program provides eligibility for appointment to the SES without competition. Participation is based on a competitive selection process restricted to individuals with at least 1 year of leadership experience in a position at the GS-14/15 level or equivalent.
