Electronic Filing of Individual Income Tax Returns through a Tax Professional
Montana participates in the federal/state electronic
filing program, a cooperative effort between the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
and state revenue agencies. Authorized tax professionals can prepare and
electronically submit your federal and state tax returns at the same time.
Depending on the tax professional and the services requested, a fee may be
charged. Be sure to look for the "Authorized IRS e-file Provider" sign.
