In a collaboration with the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Student Support at the Hawaii State Department of Education, PREL, a non-profit corporation for educational research and improvement serving Pacific children and educators, undertakes responsibility for recruiting GLOBE schools, training GLOBE teachers and mentoring GLOBE students throughout Hawaii; the U.S. territories of American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam; and the Freely-Associated States of the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia (Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, Yap).
