The purpose of Education Service Center (ESC)-Region 19 is to aid teachers and administrators in the El Paso area in their role as educators of our children. We are one of twenty regional service centers located throughout the state that function as a link between the districts and charter schools they serve and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in Austin, the administrative unit of Texas public education system. ESC-19 in El Paso serves the following school districts in El Paso and Hudspeth counties:
El Paso, Ysleta, Socorro, Clint, Canutillo, Anthony, Tornillo, Dell, City, Sierra Blanca, Fabens, San Elizario, Ft. Hancock,
The ESC also serves these charter schools:
Burnham Wood, El Paso Academy, Reid Campus, El Paso Academy, Allen Campus, El Paso School of Excellence, Paso del Norte Academy
The University of Texas at El Paso (College of Science and College of Education) is a Region 19 Partner and will undertake responsibility for recruiting GLOBE schools, training GLOBE teachers and mentoring GLOBE students throughout El Paso County, western Texas and southern New Mexico.
