Pflugerville ISD will work with schools and teachers primarily in Pflugerville and Round Rock, in Texas. Our main thrust will be working with Grades K- 8. However, 9-12 is expected to become a focus as Texas has just adopted 4 years of science for graduating high school students. We are one of thirty-five regional collaboratives associated with the Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Science Teaching. We would like to work with the GLOBE Program to ensure that schools in our immediate service area have the opportunity to participate in the GLOBE Program and reap the benefits of enhancing students¿ environmental awareness and contributing to the scientific understanding of the Earth¿s environment.
