Region 10 Education Service Center, located in Richardson, provides services that impact more than 650,000 students and 53,000 educators in 81 public school districts, 31 Charter Schools, and numerous private schools in the 8 counties (and portions of a 9th) in north Texas that make up the Region 10 Service Area. Region 10 Education Service Center will implement GLOBE activities with schools and teachers primarily in Dallas, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, Hunt, Fannin and Grayson Counties in Texas. Region 10 ESC will undertake ongoing recruitment effort for school in these areas to join the GLOBE Program and will conduct GLOBE teacher training workshops on at least an annual basis or more frequently as necessary to meet the needs.
