North Central Texas College will implement GLOBE activities primarily in Montague and Cooke Counties in Texas. The main thrust will be working with students in Grades P-16. Main goals identifies are:
1. Educate citizens, particularly students about environmental issues.
2. Serve as a liaison between Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Science Teaching and area public and private schools to improve science education.
3. Provide quality, sustainable professional development for school teachers in the area of science
