University of Southern Maine partnership plans to work with schools and teachers primarily in the southern and central Maine area with a main focus to work with students in grades 6-12. Collaborative efforts to promote GLOBE activities in Maine include working with Maine Math Science Alliance (MMSA). University of Southern Maine’s College of Education is also collaborating with Eastern Alliance in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (EAST) through their long standing relationship in serving local teachers and schools.
