It is the goal of Audubon at the Francis Beidler Forest to assist local schools in addressing science standards by providing a site and/or training for hands-on scientific data collection and interpretation. We intend to provide a mechanism to move students from the classroom to science-based outdoor activities. Our primary focus will be working with teachers in Dorchester County, South Carolina, serving students in grades 4 - 8.
