myPay


The myPay system allows Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) customers to make changes directly to their own pay accounts in a secure electronic environment via a web site or via an interactive phone system. Members of America's armed forces, defense civilians, and military retirees and annuitants can make changes that previously required interaction with administrative staff and preparing paperwork. The myPay system communicates with six different Department of Defense (DoD) payroll and travel systems to support over five million customers including Civilians, Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, Military Retirees, and Annuitants.

The myPay system allows actions and/or electronic access related to:

  • Federal Tax Withholding
  • State Tax Withholding
  • Direct Deposit
  • Financial Allotments
  • Home Address
  • Savings Bonds
  • Thrift Savings Plan
  • Personal Identification Number
  • Leave and Earnings Statement
  • Travel Advice of Payment
  • Online W-2
  • 1099-R and 1042-S
  • Certificate of Eligibility
  • Report of Existence
