Take Pride in America® partners with the National Environmental Education Foundation for National Public Lands Day. Take Pride in America partnered with the National Environmental Education Foundation to sponsor Take Pride in America events on September 29th, 2007, National Public Lands Day. This year the volunteers will focus on restoring habitat on public lands, providing homes for diverse species of plants and animals. Take Pride is committed to promoting awareness about citizen stewardship and increasing volunteer opportunities for the public.
