Each year, the employees of USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) conduct hundreds of surveys and prepare reports covering virtually every facet of U.S. agriculture -- production and supplies of food and fiber, prices paid and received by farmers, farm labor and wages, farm aspects of the industry. In addition, NASS's 45 State Field Offices publish data about many of the same topics for local audiences.

The New York Field Office provides a link between USDA, NASS, and New York.  Our mission is to provide timely, accurate and useful statistics in service to New York and US Agriculture.
