The South Coast AQMD Web site's navigation is designed to be informative and user-friendly to more efficiently and effectively serve you by providing quick access to the wide range of information available at AQMD.  Visit our A-Z Index for an alphabetical listing of links to our pages by subject matter.

How our Web site is organized - Every page displays seven main navigation categories and alternate language links.

1. Home provides a link back to the home page.

2. Inside AQMD provides access to information about

   • the Governing Board and Hearing Board including agendas, minutes, and meeting schedule;

   • budgets and financial information (click on About AQMD);

   • a Calendar of Events;

   • Clean Air Plans;

   • information about management staff, including biographies (click on About AQMD);

   • a staff directory to find phone or e-mail information for a staff member

   • Also included here are links to

     • AQMD Advisor and other publications,

     • entrance to our News Room,

     • employment and business opportunities at AQMD,

     • AQMD onsite services, such as cafeteria*, child care center*, library*, leasing space, and conference room reservations,
       *(open to the public)

     • other environmental Web sites.

3. Community provides information to the communities that AQMD serves.  Here you will find a wealth of information regarding

   • environmental justice initiatives and events,

   • daily air quality information,

   • government relations,

   • how to report air quality complaints,

   • climate change information, and

   • outreach information. 

4. Likewise, Business is geared toward information that businesses may seek to assist them with questions related to

   • permitting,

   • compliance,

   • rules,

   • transportation, and

   • small business assistance information.

5. Technology provides information on

   • certified equipment and low VOC products,

   • clean air technologies,

   • Fleet Rules,

   • Technology Advancement Office, and

   • access to our Technology Forums page. 

6. Health and Education provides links to

   • The Clean Air Choices Program,

   • The Flex Your Power program,

   • educational information for students,

   • health studies complete or in progress, and

   • safety tips.

7. Governing Board provides links to

   • how the Board works,

   • meeting agendas and minutes,

   • biographies of Board members,

   • Board Standing Committees and Advisory Groups.

We also provide some documents on the Web site in Spanish, Chinese or Korean.  We are working to expand the availability of documents in these languages.

Home Page Left Navigation Bars - We've added an Air Quality Forecast/Advisories area to the navigation area to give you an at-a-glance picture of current air quality conditions in our air basin. Click on the map or Current Hourly Air Quality for data that is updated hourly. To see the expected daily forecast, click on Today or Tomorrow. There is also a one-page summary of today and tomorrow's expected forecasts available in a PDF version. Also in the navigation area you will find Quick Links to frequently accessed areas of our site. There is also a Current Programs, Events & Topics section leading to major AQMD programs, information on forthcoming events, and topics of interest for people who follow air quality issues. You will also find navigation bars to download forms, as well as to subscribe by e-mail to AQMD's notification lists.

Navigation Tips - Here are some useful features:

• On any page, click the AQMD logo in the upper left corner of the screen to return to the Home Page. 

• The seven main categories and alternate language links remain accessible to you anywhere on the Web site.

• Move your cursor over any of the seven major categories and drop-down menus will display further information accessible under that category.  Many of these also have further sub-menus for ease of navigation. 

• In some cases, when it is underlined, a drop-down menu item with further sub-menus will itself be a link to information.

• On pages other than the Home Page, navigation bars related to the current page appear on the left side of your screen, along with the Air Quality Forecast/Advisories information and Quick Links.

• The banners at the right of the page provides information about upcoming events and information that is timely.  Click on the banner images for further details.

• At the bottom of the page are links for how to contact us at  AQMD, e-mail a question or information need, or report a website problem.
