Program Overview
This course is designed to assist DSC IT Examiners perform a detailed review of the security and audit settings found in most firewalls.
Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- understand how firewalls operate, and
- perform a fairly detailed review of firewall settings.

Facilitated classroom discussion and lectures.
Duration
Four and one-half days.
Level
Intermediate.
Target Audience
DSC Bank Examiners who perform IT examinations.
Prerequisites
This course discusses technical topics and is intended for individuals examining information technology in banks and at service providers. Attendees should have an intermediate knowledge of information technology and security concepts and must have taken the iNet+, Security+, and Network+ courses. Attendance at this class is at the discretion of your Regional IT ARD.
