Advanced IT Training Program

Securing and Auditing the Windows 2003 Server

Program Overview
This course is designed to assist DSC IT examiners perform a detailed review of the security and audit settings found in Microsoft's Windows 2003 Servers.

Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • understand the security and audit functions within the Windows 2003 Server, and
  • perform a fairly detailed review of this system.

Instructional Format
Facilitated classroom lectures and discussion.

Duration
Four and one-half days.

Level
Intermediate.

Target Audience
DSC Bank Examiners who perform IT examinations.

Prerequisites
Attendees should have an intermediate knowledge of information technology and security concepts and must have taken the iNet+, Security+, and Network+ courses. Attendance at this class is at the discretion of your Regional IT ARD.
