Figure 8.8 is titled "Past Year Treatment for Mental Health Problems among Youths Aged 12 to 17: 2002 and 2003." It is a bar graph, with the following note below the graph: "Statistically significant differences (at 0.05 level) between 2002 and 2003 are denoted by '+.'" The horizontal axis represents age in years, and the vertical axis represents the percentage receiving treatment in the past year. Within each age category there is a bar for 2002 and a bar for 2003.

The percentage of 12 to 17 year olds who received treatment in the past year for mental health problems was 19.3% in 2002 and 20.6% in 2003. This is a significant difference at the 0.05 level.
The percentage of 12 and 13 year olds who received treatment in the past year for mental health problems was 19.8% in 2002 and 20.5% in 2003.
The percentage of 14 and 15 year olds who received treatment in the past year for mental health problems was 19.9% in 2002 and 21.6% in 2003. This is a significant difference at the 0.05 level.
The percentage of 16 and 17 year olds who received treatment in the past year for mental health problems was 18.2% in 2002 and 19.8% in 2003.
