Figure 6.5 is titled "Perceived Availability of Marijuana and LSD among Youths Aged 12 to 17, by Age: 2002 and 2003." It is a bar graph, with the following note below the graph: "Statistically significant differences (at 0.05 level) between 2002 and 2003 are denoted by '+.'" The horizontal axis represents illicit drug by age, and the vertical axis represents the percentage indicating fairly or very easy to obtain. There are two types of illicit drugs: Marijuana and LSD; and 3 categories of age: 12 to 13, 14 to 15, and 16 to 17. Within each of the drug/age categories there is a bar for 2002 and a bar for 2003. For each drug, age, and year combination, the percentage of youths indicating that the drug was easy to obtain is as follows:

The percentage of 12 and 13 year olds indicating that it was fairly or very easy to obtain marijuana was 26.0% in 2002 and 25.2% in 2003.
The percentage of 14 and 15 year olds indicating that it was fairly or very easy to obtain marijuana was 60.0% in 2002 and 58.4% in 2003.
The percentage of 16 and 17 year olds indicating that it was fairly or very easy to obtain marijuana was 79.0% in 2002 and 77.2% in 2003.
The percentage of 12 and 13 year olds indicating that it was fairly or very easy to obtain LSD was 9.0% in 2002 and 8.7% in 2003.
The percentage of 14 and 15 year olds indicating that it was fairly or very easy to obtain LSD was 19.7% in 2002 and 18.1% in 2003.
The percentage of 16 and 17 year olds indicating that it was fairly or very easy to obtain LSD was 29.6% in 2002 and 25.7% in 2003. This difference is significant at the 0.05 level.
