Figure 6.1 is titled "Past Month Use of Cigarettes and Marijuana among Youths aged 12 to 17, by Perceptions of Risk: 2003." It is a bar graph, where the horizontal axis represents cigarette and marijuana use, and the vertical axis represents the percentage using in the past month. There are two categories of cigarette and marijuana use: Smoke One or More Packs of Cigarettes per Day and Smoke Marijuana Once a Month. For each of these two categories there is a bar for perceived great risk and a bar for perceived moderate, slight, or no risk.

Among youths who perceived great risk in smoking one or more packs of cigarettes per day, 9.5% had past month cigarette use.
Among youths who perceived moderate, slight, or no risk in smoking one or more packs of cigarettes per day, 17.2% had past month cigarette use.
Among youths who perceived great risk in smoking marijuana once a month, 1.8% had past month marijuana use.
Among youths who perceived moderate, slight, or no risk in smoking marijuana once a month, 11.2% had past month marijuana use.
