Figure 3.5 is titled "Current, Binge, and Heavy Alcohol Use among Adults Aged 18 or Older, by Employment Status: 2003." It is a bar graph, where the horizontal axis represents type of alcohol use, and the vertical axis represents the percentage using in the past month. There are three categories of alcohol use: Current Use, Binge Use, and Heavy Use. Within each category of alcohol use, there is a bar for employed full time and a bar for unemployed. For each alcohol use type and employment combination, the percentage of adults 18 or older with past month use is as follows:

The percentage of adults with past month current alcohol use was 61.2% for persons employed full time and 57.0% for persons who were unemployed.
The percentage of adults with past month binge alcohol use was 28.9% for persons employed full time and 35.0% for persons who were unemployed.
The percentage of adults with past month heavy alcohol use was 8.6% for persons employed full time and 13.3% for persons who were unemployed.
