Survivorship and Decrement Tables

 Information by State
 Print version

FHA's survivorship and decrement tables present estimates of the number of claim terminations and non-claim terminations by policy year over the entire term of the loan. These estimates are intended to portray the experience of a large number of origination years. Hence, these estimates are not intended to forecast the results of any particular origination year. Such results depend on a large number of factors, such as various economic variables - e.g., interest rates, home price appreciation, and employment levels. The user is urged to exercise extreme caution in applying these numbers directly to forecast future experience of FHA loans.
