Batch Gene Finder

What the Batch Gene Finder Can Do

The Batch Gene Finder allows you to submit a list of gene symbols, UniGene clusters, accession numbers, protein accession number, UniProt (SwissProt) protein accessions, UniProt (SwissProt) protein identifiers (like "ACTB_HUMAN") or Entred Gene numbers and retrieve a list of genes that correspond to each identifier.

Use the Batch Gene Finder

1. Prepare a text file containing the list of gene symbols, UniGene clusters, accession numbers, protein accestion number, UniProt (SwissProt) protein accessions, UniProt (SwissProt) protein identifiers (like "ACTB_HUMAN") or Entrez Gene numbers.
Enter the name of the file containing the list of identifiers or use the "Browse" button to locate the file in a local directory.

Select the organism which corresponds to ALL of your identifiers.

Click "Create Gene List" button.

File Format

  • Do NOT mix Hs. and Mm. numbers in one file.
  • Identifiers may not contain wildcard characters (e.g. '*', '?').
  • The text file must list the identifiers in a vertical column like this:
    ABL1
    NM_002750
    7157
    NP_005974
    MDM2
    1111
    P78499
    ACTB_HUMAN
    672
    Hs.80409
    NM_000389
