The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma intends to negotiate a commercial procurement for Mobile Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) equipment and related technical support Services. The unit must be prepared to perform the first procedure of the day at 8a.m. and continue to perform procedures until the VAMC's schedule for the day is completed. The contractor shall provide a trained, licensed, credentialed technician to assist the VAMC physician. This is a proposed contract action for services for which the government intends to solicit as a Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code is 621999, $9.0M. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Machine must be able to treat all stones anywhere in the urinary tract. Machine should have a greater than 80% success rate (based on FDA clinical study data). The VA reserves the right to make a single firm-fixed price award. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions later if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. Estimated Contract duration period is 3 years. The award of this solicitation is subject to availability of funding. A solicitation is not currently available therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The solicitation should be ready on or about October 20, 2008.
