     MEDIA ADVISORY:

     HHS Secretary Louis W. Sullivan, M.D., and Gail Wilensky,
Ph.D., Administrator of HHS' Health Care Financing
Administration, will hold a news conference Friday, Nov. 1, to
discuss a new initiative to improve Medicare payment systems and
prevent fraud and abuse in the area of Durable Medical Equipment.
