                          MEDIA ADVISORY

     U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Louis W.
Sullivan, M.D. will tour the Maricopa County Public Health
facility and receive the first official copy of the Maricopa
County Infant Immunization Plan.
     President Bush requested Secretary Sullivan to address the
issue of immunization for children under two years of age. 
Maricopa County has formulated a local initiative to reach the
national goal of immunizing 90 percent of all children under 24
months and younger by the year 2000.
     The Secretary will available for a photo opportunity during
the tour and a question and answer session immediately following.
