The Government will be using Option Year Contracts for the Park
Attendant positions at Albeni Falls Dam. Each Park Attendant position
consists of one base year and one option year. Contractor receiving the
award is committed for two years. The Government will notify the
contractor in writing (preliminary letter of intent) within 60 Days after
completion of each camping season of its intent to award the option year
for the next one-year period or its intent not to award that option year.
The Government reserves the right to award the options. If extended, the
option year is awarded via the issuance of a modification increasing the
funding of the contract by the amount of the next option year.
