The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (Board) intends to enter into a sole source purchase order award with Convera Technologies for software upgrade to the Board's Image Retrieval Information System (IRIS). In addition, the existing paper capture solution will be replaced. Convera Technologies holds the proprietary source code for the RetrievalWare software, and therefore is the only provider for these services. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Convera Technologies, 1959 Palomar Oaks Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009, for a time & materials purchase order. A request for quotation does not exist. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement including technical information sufficient to demonstrate a bona fide written capability to meet this reqirement to the address shown above no later than 5 days from the date this announcement appears in the Federal Business Opportunities. Telephonic responses and responses providing insufficient information for evaluation will not be considered.
