In
order to provide its services to the American people, HUD collects
certain information from the public. All such activities must have
approval of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and are controlled
under the provisions of the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995: "�to have Federal agencies become more
responsible and publicly accountable for reducing the burden of
Federal paperwork on the public". The Paperwork Reduction Act was
implemented under 5CFR
1320, Controlling Paperwork Burdens on the Public.
ICB
Tracking System
HUD's
Information Collection Budget (ICB) Tracking System, located at
http://webapps1.hud.gov/icbts
is a database containing management information, and the status,
of all of HUD's information collection projects. Individual information
collection initiatives can be located in the database by a keyword
in the title or by the OMB control number.
