It is a bar graph, where the horizontal axis represents perceived health status and the vertical axis represents percent with serious mental illness. There are four categories of perceived health status: excellent, very good, good, and fair/poor. For each category of perceived health status, the percentage with serious mental illness is as follows:
Of those who reported excellent health, 5.1% have serious mental illness (SMI).
Of those who reported very good health, 6.7% have SMI.
Of those who reported good health, 9.6% have SMI.
Of those who reported fair or poor health, 16.9% have SMI.
