Consumer health information systems applications developed by the Lister Hill Center not only integrate new and existing medical informatics techniques, but provide a test-bed for assessing novel approaches using "real-world" experience. Consumer Health Informatics research uses these information systems applications to conduct applied research in the consumer's ability to access and understand health information. Project research results contribute to both the theory and practice of consumer health informatics. Projects include:
